Getting Personal: 4 Tips and Tricks Strictly for the Ladies

In May, we both were in Napa Valley celebrating Kailei’s bachelorette weekend. And as many of you know, once you get a group of girls together, “girl talk” is bound to uncover some interesting things to share. There were a few things that came up that we just had to share with you. Any other “personal” tips to add? Post them in the comments!

1. OK ladies, do you live with your significant other and want to pretend like your boo-boo doesn’t stink (literally)? Or have you ever eaten something at work that didn’t agree with you and had to hold in the remnants of your lunch until you get home to protect yourself from embarrassment from your coworkers in the ladies’ room? Then check out Poo-pouri! This mega air freshener is much more effective than the “courtesy flush.” They say it best on their website, “spritz the bowl before you go and no one else will ever know!”

2. If you ever have the problem of heavy periods that are even heavier overnight, we have a solution. Wait for it…wait for it….DEPENDS! Yes, the adult incontinence “diapers” of sorts can give you just the comfort you need to go to sleep without soiling your PJs and your sheets.

3. Do you ever have yeast infections and want a natural way to clear it up? Buy some tea tree oil (you can get it from your local health food store or health section of a grocery store) and soak the tip of a tampon and insert it for as long as you can handle (between 30 minutes – 2 hours). 4. Here’s a trick to boost your metabolism and digestion: drink 32 ounces of cold water each morning to boost your metabolism and, after every meal, drink a cup of warm water. One of our bachelorette weekend ladies said that she lost 6 pounds over the course of a month by making this simple change to her diet. Guys can benefit from this one too, but we still thought we’d add to the list.
